nothing really

very badly organised when it comes to the booking of the dive trips. I paid for the dive one day ahead and when we were suppose to go they told me that they don't have enough people and they canceled the dive trip and gave me back my money. all in all very disappointing because I came for only one night and 2 days to do only one dive trip and this didn't work out. also they were not helpful in finding me another dive boat that will go.

Came to dive - left with bedbugs. Two things that made my entire experience here really bad: 1. I got bedbugs from this place. Woke up after my second night with about 30 bites. Turns out bedbugs also hide in your backpack cause two days later it’s 82 and counting. To get rid of the bed bugs will cost a lot of time and money, not least the mental and physical impact it’s had on my vacation. Therefore I wrote to them for a refund. They told me they can’t control if other people bring in bedbugs and wouldn’t issue any refunds. 2. I booked a dive with them and rented gear. They gave me a regulator that was completely gross and chewed to a point where rubber strings were hanging loose where your teeth were supposed to be. This, of course, caused the BCD falling out of my mouth during my dive. I switched to my spare regulator which was leaking in water. Sadly this made what could have been a great dive a crappy experience.

Solo female travellers are not safe here

Some staff were nice and they have free coffee and tea but this doesn’t change my opinions of the place but are good things

This hostel is dangerous for young girls to be staying in. Allejandro the receptionist is extremely creepy and his behaviour could be described as nothing other than sexual harassment. Moreover there was a guest in the property who also jumped in my bed while I was napping and was constantly being extremely creepy. It got to the point I had to report him to someone at the front desk called John who was one of the only people in the hostel I met that was doing their job properly. When this happened that the long term guest was acting like this towards me everyone was very nice but nonetheless I did not feel safe in the hostel. I was very scared in the morning to do yoga on my own in the common room as the guest had been aggressive and yelling at me for having told the front desk what he had been doing and as he was allowed to stay in the hostel I did not know if he would again come and try and do something when no one was around. Then at 7.30 someone starts furiously hitting the metal door and this really scared me so much. It went on for so long and there was no one in the hostel working there who asked the door and then another girl opened the door and it turns out it was the cleaner, when I said to the manager that this came across as really scary and off putting it this was just dismissed as okay because it was the cleaner despite the fact that guests should not be the ones to let random people they’ve never seen into the hostel which is supposed to be ‘sexure’. I have never in my life experienced such a poorly run hostel, it is dim and depressing inside and the day before I got there apparently people were robbed which given my terrifying and horrible experience this doesn’t surprise me

Bad experience, very noisy

Sorry, cannot think of anything.

I don’t recommend going here. We had the worst night ever. It started at check-in where they asked for an environmental fee which I already prepaid through booking.com The reception desk was very slow and not very welcoming. The night was horrible. The place is very noisy. For starters because of the location close to bars. The walls are very thin so you hear everything your neighbour says. The doors cannot close silently so everytime one of the other guests goes to the toilet I woke up. When we were finally ready to sleep (the music outside stopped) a machine right above our head (kind of a extractor hood) started making a very loud noise. The owner had no idea what it was and didn’t really want to do something about it. Fortunately one of his employees came up with a solution for us (move to another room which was available that night) It was so bad that we left after one night even though we paid in advance for 4 nights. It doesn’t have a hostel vibe but also not a ‘divers’ vibe. I would go for another option if you prefer a good nights rest.

Location perfect, but got bed bugs

The location is perfect, very close to the ferry and the center.

The hostel shuts the lights off very early, so you can't speak and connect with other travellers at night. Also the lights shuts off every three minutes in the bathrooms, so if you take a shower at night, you'll be left in total darkness and you have to go out naked to the door so the light turns on again. And I got bed bugs! The rooms are also very dark, there is no window and it's smelly, dark and moist in the rooms.

Great hostel right by the ferry

The location. Straight ahead when you get off the ferry and on your right. If you get to the church. Gone too far. Super easy to find. Victoria is amazing and will help you out with any questions. Low price! ️

Sharing a room is a gamble. Bring headphones to listen to whitenoise and drown out the people who snore. The heavy scent from the cleaner gave me an instant headache. I am sure it works great but it is pretty overpowering. The place is super clean and they clean 3x a day. Best to be away when it happens if you are scent sensitive. One English staff is quite unfriendly. If he hates his job, he should find another. Client service representatives should at the very least look like they enjoy people. I felt I was interfering in his life when I asked questions. The other staff, Victoria is a dream. The complete opposite of this man. Wait for her to be on the desk if you have any questions.

cheap hostel right in town

Location could not be anymore central. All staff were really friendly. Spacious rooms and bed. Good kitchen.

The sensors in the toilets and bathrooms. The fairy lights in a bedroom on a timer and were on till 3am. It was darker in the room during the day than at night when you’re wanting to sleep. Money spent on power should be in toilets and showers n not fairy lights in rooms whilst guests are sleep. Made no logical sense.
